1890 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. Proof-65 (PCGS). Both sides are overlaid with vivid purple toning. This is a simply beautiful Gem -- expertly produced, original and carefully preserved. Only 590 Proofs were struck in this penultimate year of the Liberty Seated series of half dollars, and today few Gems survive. An opportunity for the specialist in these early Proof half dollars.
