Flashy and multicolored, this is a wonderful and totally original GEM 3 cent silver. Sharply struck devices stand out boldly against the watery reflective fields. Rich violet-blue and apricot-rose tones really pop in the light. Only 725 Proofs were struck. PCGS 20, NGC 15. The most recent examples to sell were CAC approved, the most recent in April 2021 for $2,640.The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $3,000. RARE finer, PCGS has graded just four higher.
