A generally tobacco brown example with a hint of olive overall and, engaging a few of the design elements, faint traces of faded pinkish-red mint color. The planchet is lightly flawed at lower left and upper left obverse, also within the label on the reverse at the letters ES in STATES, with more minor flaws elsewhere on both sides. Obverse impression off center to 3 o'clock with the border at right approaching, but not touching the tops of the date digits. Better centered on the reverse, there are areas of peripheral softness on both sides, but most design elements are appreciable, and many are boldly rendered.
