1870-G Round $1. BG-1203. Rarity-5-. Die State I. Liberty Head. MS-63 (PCGS). OGH. 1855-O Seated Liberty Quarter. Arrows. Briggs 1-A. Genuine--Code 91, Questionable Color (PCGS). Glowing orange-gold surfaces also reveal faint semi prooflike tendencies in the fields as the coin rotates under a light. We see only wispy handling marks limiting the grade, allowing ready appreciation of a sharply executed strike. Identical in grade to the Jay Roe specimen/Breen-Gillio plate coin, and among the finest known for this very scarce variety.
