Lot Description
Hard to believe, but after 30+ years of operations, this piece is the second finest known! It does have real MS65+ quality (we actually rank the coin a MS65.9+). Superior surfaces glow with a booming luster all over. The surfaces look thick and satiny, but slightly semi-proolfike. You can clearly see the light mirrors. Both sides are evenly bathed in beautiful and totally original pale orange gold colors. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and every detail are frosted and are fully struck. The eye appeal is heart pounding! PCGS 24, NGC 8, CAC 3. This is the ONLY MS65+ graded and there are NO MS66's. Hard to believe there is one coin-a PCGS CAC MS67 better. The last regular MS65 sold in auction for $7,638 August 2016. These certainly do NOT grow on trees! Obviously, this piece has never been in any auction. The current Collector’s Universe value is $11,000. This beautiful piece is more than worthy of inclusion in any GEM Set! We expect strong bidding here. Cert. Number 84904120 PCGS # 7843
