Mintage: 91,584. The historic mystique of Dahlonega gold practically radiates from the outstanding, original greenish-gold surfaces of this modestly worn half-eagle. Circulation rub blends with the typical strike to create a coin that barely misses out on extremely-fine sharpness. The cataloger must note a brief scrape ejecting up and left of the eagle's beak, but it's age permits it to practically blend into the surface.
