- 1881 Pattern Liberty Cent. Judd-1666, Pollock-1866. Rarity-6+. Copper. Plain Edge. Proof-64 RB (NGC).
Barber's head of Liberty as used on the 1883-1913 Liberty nickels at center, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around, date below, reverse with Roman numeral I at center of agricultural wreath. Though denominated as a cent, the diameter is much smaller and is closer in size overall to a half dime. The uspatterns.com website suggests just a dozen or so examples of Judd-1666 are known.
