- 1894 Morgan Silver Dollar. Proof-45 (PCGS). CAC. OGH.
Direct viewing angles reveal ample reflectivity in the fields that confirms this coin's status as a survivor of the year's 972-piece Proof silver dollar delivery. Lightly toned in silver gray with overall bold definition. Almost certainly placed into circulation, either intentionally or by accident, this is still a desirable survivor of one of the more popular Proof issues in the Morgan series, one that is associated by date and issuing mint with a key date circulation strike in the form of the low mintage (110,000 pieces) 1894.
Provenance: From the Janet Nakushian Collection.
PCGS# 7329. NGC ID: 2577.
