1901 Lesher or Referendum Dollar. Imprint Type. HK-791, Zerbe-5. Rarity-6. Silver. No. 1018. AU-58 (PCGS). CAC. A second example of the Imprint Type with Number, this piece numbered 1018 and richly toned in a blend of steel-gray and olive-charcoal. Sharply defined overall, as befits the assigned grade, with minimal signs of handling. This piece is not included in the Adna Wilde Lesher Census on the lesherdollars.comwebsite, and so far it seems to have escaped the attention of researchers in this popular, yet challenging series.
