FROM THE DR. STEPHEN DAVIDSON COLLECTION A lovely CHOICE AU B-16, BB-158. Just light wear is noted on the highest points but the devices are nicely preserved and well defined and both sides show a wealth of retained luster in the fields. Clash marks are seen, as made. Both sides are richly patinated with deep honey gold hues and varied violet and rose. The eye appeal is lovely unmarred by any serious marks or lines that would detract from the outstanding eye appeal. PCGS 123, NGC 83. The current PCGS price Guide value is listed at $9,000 and there has not been a non-CAC PCGS AU55 sold since January 2019.
