- Our multiple offerings for this key date issue in the present sale notwithstanding, the 1904-S is scarce in Choice Mint State relative to demand from Morgan dollar enthusiasts. Lightly speckled champagne-rose iridescence appears to drift toward the borders on both sides of this highly lustrous, brightly frosted example. Boldly struck and visually appealing.
