Losbeschreibung
1870 Pattern Dime. Judd-837, Pollock-928. Rarity-5+. Proof-66 (NGC). Incredible rich blue and crimson toning graces the obverse and reverse. The strike is bold and complete, with the watery reflective fields showing vibrant hues from careful storage. Frosty devices complete the equation of this seductive coin. Obverse design incorporates a bust of Liberty facing right, wearing cap with three stars and ribbon draped on her shoulder. Surrounded by UNITED STATES OF AMERICA above and fine banner with the Motto IN GOD WE TRUST below. Reverse is an open agricultural wreath with 10 CENTS 1870 within, STANDARD above. The strike is absolute and full, with each nuance of the design bold, and the surface quality is all one could hope to find. Struck in silver with a reeded edge.
