Lot Description

Billowy mint luster throughout, the obverse is minimally toned while the reverse is dressed in bold sandy-gray patina with intermingled pinkish-apricot iridescence. The strike is sharp in most areas, the surfaces uncommonly smooth-looking for the assigned grade. The low mintage 1893 is a popular Morgan dollar in all Mint State grades, and this premium Select example will surely draw bids from many astute collectors.
