One of the highest graded 1906-O dimes at PCGS, tied for second FINEST graded there! Fantastic quality and tremendous value! Smooth problem free surfaces emit a strong luster and both sides are covered by an original mix of pale lilac-dove, slate-blue, olive-tan, and apricot-gold are dusted over the satiny surfaces. Sharply struck and free of any distracting marks, this lovely GEM has a great look. PCGS 31, NGC 14, CAC 8. There are 10 PCGS MS66+s graded and a dozen MS67s finer (we think there is duplication in the Population Figures here). The last PCGS MS66+ CAC sold in the 2017 FUN auction for $1,763 and the other one sold in $1,880 in March 2015. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $1,700. The only recent PCGS MS67 to sell was the Simpson Collection coin, which last sold for $5,758 in July 2017. This is a great coin that will find itself at home in a great set of Barber dimes. Cert.
