Lot Description

1835 Capped Bust Quarter. B-1. Rarity-1. AU-58 (PCGS). Handsome gunmetal-blue and gray throughout, with the toning evenly matched through the fields and over the devices. The strike is sharp too, with all but one star showing full radial lines, and Liberty's curls well separated. Clean surfaces which after close examination reveal no bothersome nicks. Later die state for the reverse with a thin crack extending above the eagle and to the right.
