Lot Description

A Rarity-1 variety. This one shows hard, glossy surfaces and strong strike. The evenly toned surfaces show steely-blue accents on top of smooth chocolate brown. In the old days, this coin would have been called Mint State. PCGS 103, NGC 92, CAC 17. No example of this variety in AU58 has sold in auction. The most recent AU58s to sell were all scarce varieties, rated R-4 or R-5. The CU value is $300, and we think for a PQ example like this, should bring more.
