1877 Twenty-Cent Piece. Proof-63+ Cameo (NGC). Untoned apart from a dusting of pale silver and gold iridescence, both sides exhibit bold contrast between fully struck satin devices and deeply mirrored fields. A Proof-only issue with just 510 coins struck, the 1877 is the rarest datein the brief twenty-cent series of 1875 to 1878, and this is a lovely example at the Choice grade level. PCGS# 85305.
