1787 Fugio Copper. Pointed Rays. Newman 11-B, W-6785. Rarity-4. UNITED STATES, 4 Cinquefoils. Fine-12 (PCGS). 127.2 grains. A charming Fugio with smooth chocolate-brown surfaces, a nicely centered strike, and neat clashmarks. This variety is typically encountered in high grade due to its inclusion in the Bank of New York hoard. A well-circulated example such as this is actually a rare find, especially so this choice.
