1798 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. Heraldic Eagle. BB-111, B-11. Rarity-3. Pointed 9, Wide Date. Fine-12 (PCGS). Intermediate die state with a noticeable die crack from Liberty's chin down through star 13, and into the border. Later in production, a much heavier break develops. The surfaces are a totally natural gunmetal-gray color with attractive golden undertones. Bluntness in the centers is more the result of strike than of wear. An ideal type coin selection. PCGS# 6873.
