1913 Barber Half Dollar. Proof-64 (PCGS). Dusted with smoky-gold iridescence, this handsome Choice specimen also exhibits a blush of warmer mauve patina over the upper reverse. One of the more eagerly sought issues in the Proof Barber half dollar series, the 1913 is associated by date and mint with a low mintage circulation strike issue. Provenance: From the Jerome S.
