- Description du lot
- Plenty of bold to sharp striking detail remains on both sides of this well centered, lightly circulated early dollar. With mottled steely-russet highlights on dominant smoky-silver iridescence. BB-160 is one of the most plentiful die marriages of the 1799-dated silver dollar issue, although it is still more elusive than BB-163 and BB-166. Conditionally scarce at the Extremely Fine level of preservation, this coin would do nicely in a circulated type set. BB Die State II-III, intermediate die state.
