1826 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-104a. Rarity-3. MS-63 (NGC). Blended cobalt blue and golden-apricot highlights enliven dominant steel-gray patina for this smooth and satiny example. Apart from the handful of Condition Census survivors, this just miss example represents the finest in quality obtainable for the Overton-104a die state of the 1826 half dollar for today's discerning collectors.
