Ex Link, as noted on the insert. A bold, brilliant, vivid cartwheel luster rolls smoothly and unbroken across the surfaces on both sides of this CHOICE Capped Bust half. Perhaps gently dipped ages ago, the surfaces are nicely recovered and have a band of rich golden tone at the periphery, creating a halo effect on both sides. The reliefs are sharply struck with crisp definition from a precision blow from the dies. The eye appeal is very nice. PCGS 25, NGC 12.
