Lot Description

Highly lustrous and well struck, this high grade 52-D shows fully rendered definition on Monticello's steps amongst all the other finely detailed devices of Jefferson's beloved home. A few tiny marks are all that keep this GEM from the SUPERB category, but these don't detract much from the outstanding eye appeal. PCGS 11, NGC 0. None of these have ever sold in auction. We sold a 67 FS in August 2020 for $4,113 and the Incline Collection coin, a 66 FS sold our July 2020 Regency Auction for $223. The Collectors Universe value is $1,250, and jumps to $9,000 in 67 FS.
