An impressive GEM Cameo Proof Indian cent that makes us scream WOW! This coin really pops, both sides are exceptional in every way. Deeply beaming copper mirrors have a deep, beaming flash that captivates the eye from across the room. The contrast is bold, visually stunning, imparted by thickly frosted and sharply defined design elements. A dusting of iridescent toning can be seen at certain angles, and a tiny fleck or two can be detected with a strong glass, but none of this impacts the excellent eye appeal. Only 600 Proofs were struck. PCGS 1, NGC 0. There are just five coins graded finer. The most recent PCGS graded PR65 CAM had a CAC sticker and sold for $6,600. In 65+ CAM, the Collectors Universe value is listed at $7,500. It would be hard to find an other that comes close to the eye appeal of this impressive coin, regardless of price Cert.
