- Lot Description
- Ex Dr. Charles Link, noted on the PCGS label. A flashy coin with bold luster and colorful peripheral toning. The surfaces are immaculate. Why only MS 61? A guess is that the worn obverse die influenced the PCGS graders. (This late die state was labeled O.105a until the BHNC delisted the subvariety.) The 1832 O.105 is a “sleeper” in high grade. The Brelsford coin is plated on PCGS’ CoinFacts. No example is graded higher. https://www.pcgs.com/coinfacts/coin/1832-50c-overton-105-small-letters/39862.
