- 1855 Braided Hair Cent. N-3. Rarity-1. Grellman Die State B. Upright 55. MS-65 BN (NGC). Faint traces of rose-orange luster peer from the more protected areas around some of the devices. The strike softens a bit at the borders, indicative of a late die state, but the focal features in and around the centers are boldly impressed. An original Gem with no significant blemishes to report.
