R-7+. 4-6 Minted. Struck in aluminum with a reeded edge. There is some minor oxidation on both sides, as well as some light toning; regardless, the mirrors are still deep and flashy. The details are boldly struck and have thick frost. The eye appeal is okay! PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. This is the FINEST J-712 graded. It originally was an NGC coin that sold in auction back in 2003 for $6,210. In the big collection he bought in 2008, Mr. Simpson paid $8,750 for this coin.
