1831 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-117. Rarity-4. AU-53 (PCGS). No segments between words on edge. Untoned silver gray surfaces are suitably lustrous and pleasingly smooth for the assigned grade. An endearing coin that is just shy of Condition Census for this scarcer die marriage of the 1831 half dollar issue, per the listing in the fifth edition of the Overton-Parsley reference.
