Lot Description

1876 Trade Dollar. Type I/I. Proof-61 (NGC). A trifle more brilliance to the reverse field seems to be the only requirement to garner a Cameo designation for this impressive PF61. For both sides we note more of a satiny texture to nicely impressed, overall fully defined devices. Lightly toned in champagne-gold iridescence, with only light handling and minor scuffing precluding a higher numeric grade.
