1859 Pattern Indian Cent. Judd-228, Pollock-272. Rarity-1. MS-63 (PCGS). OGH. Lustrous with a bold strike and a few traces of light carbon scattered over the surfaces. This is the regular dies as adopted in 1860 with the small shield at the top of the reverse. Tawny-tan with a dash of toning, particularly on the reverse. Struck in copper-nickel with plain edge.
