- Lot Description
- Stunning condition rarity for the type, both sides exhibit virtually pristine satin surfaces. Lightly to moderately toned, especially on the reverse, with a lovely appearance in all regards. The Act of May 15, 1936 authorized the striking of 25,000 half dollars to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Territory of Wisconsin. All of these coins were produced and distributed to collectors, survivors of which are plentiful in an absolute sense yet scarce in the finest Mint State grades, as here.
