- 1843-O Liberty Quarter Eagle. Small Date, Crosslet 4. MS-62 (PCGS). Boldly lustrous yellow-gold with a deep orange glow. Boldly struck for the date with raised lumps from a rusted die plainly seen under low magnification, especially on the obverse. Heavy reverse die crack noted from CA through the denomination. Choice for the grade with no surface blemishes readily apparent to the unassisted eye. PCGS# 7731.
