<strong>Obv:</strong> Standard Silver design with a right facing bust of Liberty serving as the focal device on the obverse. Liberty's hair is tied in a bun, and she is wearing a headband inscribed LIBERTY and adorned with a single star. The legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is around the periphery and the motto IN GOD WE TRUST is inscribed on a scroll at the lower border. <strong>Rev:</strong> The denomination 25 CENTS and the date 1870 surrounded by a wreath of corn and cotton. The word STANDARD is above. With iridescent undertones of pinkish-apricot and lilac-blue to dominant pewter-olive patina.
