1870 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. Proof-63 (PCGS). Warmly patinated in dominant dove-gray, the peripheries exhibit warmer olive-gray highlights and vivid cobalt blue undertones. From a Proof mintage of 1,000 coins, survivors of which are more challenging to locate than Proof Liberty Seated half dollars of 1879 to 1891. PCGS# 6428. NGC ID: 27U5.
