- 1936 Lincoln Cent. FS-102. Doubled Die Obverse, Type II. MS-66 RD (PCGS).
Lovely medium orange surfaces are enhanced by blushes of iridescent pink and powder blue. Sharply struck throughout and smooth for the assigned grade. The obverse die of this variety received its first impression from a hub with the letter R in LIBERTY broken, its second impression coming from a perfect R hub. Scarce in all Mint State grades, the 1936 FS-102 is rare as a full Red Gem, as here.
