1835 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-102. Rarity-2. MS-63 (PCGS). CAC. Rich variegated toning does not prevent one from appreciating a lively prooflike finish as the surfaces rotate under a light. Overall full striking detail is uncommon in a late date Lettered Edge Capped Bust half dollar, and the level of preservation is just shy of Condition Census for this scarcer variety of the 1835 issue.
