Deeply reflective mirrors shine through a lovely azure and dappled golden-amber toning on both sides. The devices are highly frosted, and contrast very nicely against the fields. Only 1,100 proofs were struck. PCGS 10, NGC 12, CAC 9. There are only 2 examples graded as PR67+ CAM, and there is only a single PR68 CAM finer at PCGS. This coin last sold in September 2015 for $3,760 and the CU price is $5,250. The sole PR68 CAM has not been in auction, although an NGC PR68 CAM sold for nearly $13,000 in September 2015.
