Lot Description: 1830 Capped Bust Dime. JR-2. Rarity-1. Small 10C. AU-58 (PCGS). The PCGS insert incorrectly attributes this coin as Medium 10C, which is a variety that is actually not listed in the <em>Guide Book </em>for the 1830 Capped Bust Dime. An attractive coin with full originality, both sides exhibit rich olive-copper and burnt-orange outlines to the devices. The balance of the surfaces exhibit a lighter silver-gray sheen, and all areas are equally well struck. A smooth-looking, near-Mint survivor with stronger eye appeal than many low-end Uncs that this cataloger has seen.
