1835 Classic Head Half Eagle. HM-1. Rarity-2+. AU-55 (NGC). Crusty honey-olive surfaces with steely-rose iridescence at the borders. More than 371,000 half eagles were struck in 1835 and circulated as workhorse coins for years.
