Lot Description

1787 Connecticut Copper. Miller 6.2-M, W-2825. Rarity-6. Mailed Bust Left, Second Laughing Head. EF-40. 117.1 grains. A uniformly microporous chocolate brown specimen of the "other" Laughing Head variety, this far scarcer than its M.6.1-M counterpart. Bold design elements are present and the surfaces are fairly unsullied by noticeable marks save for an old scratch at 4 o'clock on the obverse and a shallow dent below the scratch; the reverse is unhindered by marks.
