1801 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. BB-213, B-3. Rarity-3. EF-40 (PCGS). Slightly mottled steel-gray to a base of pewter, this handsomely toned example also reveals subtle powder blue undertones at direct lighting angles. Well struck and nicely preserved, the in hand appearance is smooth and inviting. A coin that would do equally well in a circulated type or variety set. BB Die State III. PCGS# 6893. NGC ID: 24XA.
