1894-S Liberty Half Eagle. MS-61 (PCGS). Typically offered in circulated grades, the 1894-S is a very scarce Half Eagle even at the lower reaches of Mint State. Here we offer a BU example with razor-sharp devices and dominant reddish-orange patina. There are remarkably few abrasions, although both sides are a bit subdued beneath hazy tinting.
