- 56 graded PF-68 UCAM, 10 higher at NGC. Contrast switches abruptly from white to black when passing over the boundaries of the primary devices, creating inimitable UCAM effect on both sides. NGC likely has the strictest standard for what constitutes a UCAM example, but it so happens that the 1957 half-dollar is one of the well-known "designation rarities" within the series, with anything certified above the superb-gem level being an undeniable rarity. Astonishing clarity of the mirrors really jumps out at the viewer, and the devices are entirely layered with thick, snowy frost that creates the incomparable visual appeal.
