1911-D Barber Quarter. MS-64 (PCGS). The mostly brilliant surfaces exhibit modest semi-reflectivity in the fields under a light. The 1911-D is one of the scarcer late date Barber quarters due to a mintage of 933,600 pieces. Provenance: From the A.J. Vanderbilt Collection. Acquired from Harry Laibstain, March 2000; via Stack's.
