- Lot Description
- 1908-O Barber Half Dollar. MS-65 (NGC).
An overall sharply defined example with smooth, lively, satin-textured luster blanketing both sides. Otherwise brilliant, delicate golden peripheral highlights adorn the peripheries to add further appeal. Although the 1908-O is the highest mintage circulation strike issue in this series with 5,360,000 pieces produced, the Barber half dollar as a type is scarce in Gem Mint State. A find for the high grade type collector.
PCGS# 6514. NGC ID: 24N6.
NGC Census: 42; 15 finer (MS-68 finest).
Provenance: From the Graywood Collection.
