1879 Trade Dollar. Proof-45 (PCGS). OGH. Attractive medium silver-gray toning with darker accents in the legends but one that apparently slipped into circulation for a brief time. The surfaces show numerous small digs and handling marks, quite unusual for a coin that scarcely circulated, but these are generally toned over.
