This is a borderline SUPERB 1867 3 cent nickel and tied for FINEST in the DCAM classification at PCGS. This marvelous Premium GEM is spectacular! A bold, remarkable contrast between the the highly reflective mirrored fields beam boldly and the thickly frosted devices impart a sensational look. The surfaces are pristine and the eye appeal is absolutely superb. Only 625 Proofs were struck. PCGS 3, NGC 1.
