Lot Description

Dusted with smoky powder blue and golden-tan iridescence, virtually pristine surfaces are fully struck with a strongly reflective finish overall. The reverse is rotated approximately 30 degrees counterclockwise from normal coin alignment - an unusual and interesting feature in a 20th century U.S. Mint Proof coin. The 1937 is the most readily obtainable Proof in the Buffalo nickel series, and this striking Ultra Gem will do nicely in a high quality set.
