Description du lot: 1830 Matron Head Cent. N-4. Rarity-2. Large Letters. MS-63 BN (PCGS). Richly toned in dark cocoa and steel blue shades across each side. The luster is comprehensive and satiny throughout the fields, framing well-formed and undisturbed devices. Nicely centered on each side, with the obverse only negligibly drawn towards 4 o'clock. The inner circle is present in most areas but is beginning to fade on the obverse, and the cracks connecting the peripheries have progressed to Noyes Die State C/C. Smooth to inspection and lending just a speck of dark patina at the first A of AMERICA as a convenient pedigree marker. Provenance: From the Paradise Collection.
